RSS Leader Thrashed For Posting Objectionable Post Against Owaisi On WhatsApp

Bhopal: A Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leader was thrashed by police officials for posting objectionable post on WhatsApp against All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen MP Asaduddin Owaisi.

Police swung into action after receiving a complaint by locals about objectionable post by RSS leader Suresh Yadav.

Yadav was manhandled by police officials who include - Baihar police station Town Inspector (TI) Ziaul Haq, ASP Rajesh Sharma, sub-inspector Anil Ajmeria, ASI Suresh Vijywar, constable Uikey, Inspector Ziaul Haq and other half-a-dozen police officials reached RSS office.

On knowing the incident RSS workers stage protest at Baihar police station and declared bandh on Monday in Baihar

Yadav was dragged out from his house and was beaten on his way to police station. One of the RSS workers alleged that, “Yadav ran into a medical store to save himself from bruises but police chased him and beat him again.”

He was admitted at a local hospital and for further treatment has been referred to Jabalpur. Yadav is the district pracharak of the RSS On knowing the incident RSS workers stage protest at Baihar police station and declared bandh on Monday in Baihar.

A case has been registered against ASP Rajesh Sharma, SI Anil Ajmeria and other half-a-dozen police officials.

“The situation is under control now. I will supervise investigations into the case,” said D C Sagar, IG Balaghat.
